Project Number: 2022-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000089608 ● Fabricated news : fabricated pieces of information, with no factual basis, appearing very similar to truthful news in order to appear realistic. In addition to these six types of fake news, there is a seventh type known as clickbait . This phenomenon consists of, by means of editorial strategies, provoking users to enter the news item because of the sensationalist headline it presents (Bacazo et al., 2019). Considering the different forms in which they are presented, in order to minimise the impact of fake news online, apart from movements such as fact-checking or other initiatives, it is necessary to create critical readers who do not believe everything they read online (López-Borrull et al., 2018).
